Welcome to Kisii Central Possibility Ministries,
Possibility ministry is a department in the seventh day Adventist church that focuses on ensuring that individuals living with disabilities and special needs are empowered, included and encouraged to participate fully in the the church programmes and the community at large.
This ministry supports these groups:
- Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Blind and visually impaired.
- People with physical or mobility limitations.
- People with mental health challenges
- People with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- Orphans and vulnerable children
- Caregivers.
The ministry focuses on strengths of what an individual can do and not the deficit. It also sees them as individuals who are uniquely created and with unique gifts, Who have a potential to support and contribute meaningfully and be profitable to the society and the Adventist church. Since most of these members sometimes feel limited or overlooked the church gives them opportunity to recognize their potential. The ministry also ensures that they feel valued, needed, gifted and treasured.
